Barbell Blisters

This short powerlifting documentary was made for I-Max screen. I was inspired by the powerlifters at my gym, and I wanted to showcase a space that is very important to me. Stanley became my coach in 2018, and he taught me so much about lifting. I loved the way the weights sounded when they hit the floor, so I used that as inspiration while shooting.

Nightmare Realm Trailer

This trailer is for Nightmare Realm, which is a concept I created as an immersive experience with an interactive horror-themed amusement park. I collected and compiled stock footage and videos from other amusement parks in order to depict the atmosphere of this theme park.

Book Of Girmori

The Book of Gimori is a horror film in which the main character, J.J., is an amateur magician with an awful assistant. J.J.'s nemesis steals his show, assistant, and confidence, which gives him motivation to seek revenge, and assure that the next show will be an unpleasant one. 
 
Role: Director, Sound Designer, Costume Designer, providing assistance with Editing and Production Design.  

"Period"

Period is a short thriller-drama that explores what can happen when someone makes false-accusations against a lover, exploring themes of romance, deceit, and revenge. This short film follows a couple over time, highlighting how some things are too big to let go of, no matter how many years may pass.

Would it Kill you to clean?

Would it Kill You to Clean? is a silent horror short about a woman who becomes fed up with roommates who refuse to clean up after themselves, so she decides to pursue revenge. This film was particularly challenging because it was the first time I created a film that was completely silent. It highlights the ability to tell a story from beginning to end without dialogue.

Woman in my Picture

Woman In My Picture is a poetry slam short, where a young woman dealing with emotional challenges seeks comfort through her words (and weed).  During this film's production, the director realized that his original vision wasn't working, and he adapted by utilizing his own poetry to guide the story.

Bokeh

Bokeh is a short film about a photographer who is experiencing an emotional disconnection from his girlfriend and he isn't sure why. It explores how using photography to cope helps him realize a dark presence is after him, and his reality may not be what it seems.

The Bluffs is a television series set in Colorado Springs, CO. During Season 2, we learn that Nikola Tesla's ideas haven't all been lost, and a graduate student working on his thesis is determined to finish one of the inventions Tesla started years ago. When the grant money is suddenly stolen, the graduate student is falsely accused of theft. The department head and the researcher's best friend conspire against him in order to profit off of the invention, but the researcher knows that without having perfected it, it will be too dangerous to share with the world. Like Tesla himself, the researcher was would rather give the invention up altogether than create something that the public doesn't have free access to, but his friend would rather sabotage it all than allow him to do that. 

Role: Director (Episode #03), Gaffer, and Production Sound. 

Production Assistant Work: Commercials

LEFT: A commercial advertising University of Colorado: Colorado Springs, where I first worked on a professional commercial set. This was a significant catalyst for the filmmaker I wanted to become, highlighting how much work and preparation goes into the media we consume all the time.

RIGHT:  Another commercial advertising University of Colorado: Colorado Springs. While working on this commercial set, I was exposed to professional equipment and the crew, inspiring me to learn how to create a story from beginning to end in pre-production, production, and post-production.
